THE JOURNEY

From Shirdagh to Norway.

I come from a small village in Afghanistan. I moved to Norway, where I live today.

This illustration represents a symbolic journey from Afghanistan to Norway. It does not depict my actual route or means of transport.

01
The beginning

Shirdagh.

A small village in Afghanistan. This is where I come from, and where my story begins.

02
Arrival

To Norway.

Moving to Norway marked the start of a new and better future, one I work to build.

A NEW CHAPTER
03
Today

Software developer.

I live in Norway and work as a software developer. My background combines science, computer engineering studies and digital products.

WHERE I AM TODAY
04
Looking ahead

The next chapter.

I keep building with Inovix, my own products and new ideas such as Tilbudsroboten and Stamly.

I am the founder of Inovix ↗︎. We build software for clients and our own products. These five are published.

Behind the projects

What should it solve?

From a real need to something people can use.

Published / finance

From scattered numbers to clarity.

Income and expensesCollect and organiseBudget and overviewConcept illustration
01 / The need

Income, bills, debt and savings goals belong together. It is hard to see the whole picture when they are scattered.

02 / The solution

Cashlite brings income and expense tracking together with budgets, bills, debt and savings goals in one interface.

03 / The result

A published app for iOS and Android, bringing personal finances into one view.

Tilbudsroboten

From a voice description to a finished quote the customer can sign in their browser. I work on the app, web portal, calculations and access control.

04 / About me

Hello.
I’m Rahmat.

My name is Rahmat Mazafari. I come from Shirdagh in Afghanistan. I moved to Norway, where I live today.

I work as a software developer, with a background in Embedded Systems computer engineering studies at USN. I also studied cybersecurity without completing the programme, and have knowledge in the field. I founded Inovix, where we build software for clients and products such as NordCRM, Cashlite, Venito, Peskot and DelbarMe.

On my desk

What I’m exploring
right now.

I like learning by building. Here are some of the threads I’m following.

LEARN. TRY. KEEP BUILDING.
01 / Building

Tilbudsroboten.

I’m working on turning a spoken description into a quote the customer can sign. Text, calculations and access control need to work together.

02 / Exploring

Secure software.

Cybersecurity is part of my knowledge. In my projects, I care about who can access data and how that access is controlled.

03 / Staying curious

New perspectives.

My reading includes Never Split the Difference, Atomic Habits and many other books. Books, travel and encounters with other cultures give me new perspectives.

BEYOND THE EVERYDAY

New places.
New perspectives.

I have travelled to many places in Europe, and to Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Dubai, Qatar, Iran and Turkey. Travel is one of my interests, alongside books and technology.
